Our web site collects two kinds of data: Page hit information and customer information.
Page hit information
Each time your browser requests a page on our web site, our software records some information about that request. Information stored includes the page requested, the page linking to the current page, and the browser used. Also recorded is the Internet address ther request came from.
This information is collected purely for statistical purposes: For instance, we can figure out what percentage of visitors to our site are using Mozilla Firefox, and what percentage are finding us using Google searches. We will never link this information to specific users - the most specific we ever get is the address the request came from, such as 68.164.165.1.
Customer information
Any time you provide information to us, such as placing an order, we will store the information as necessary to provide the service desired. For instance, we will store your name and address, as well as the product ordered, so that we will have more information to help us assist you if you call for technical support.
All information is secured using industry standard and above industry standard practices and software.
We never save credit card information other than a minimal amount to identify the card - the last four digits and card type. As soon as a credit card has been charged, it is removed from our database. In addition, industry-standard 128-bit encryption is used for transmitting the card information.
Cookies
Our site uses cookies to keep track of information that is useful to you, such as your shopping cart and login information. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.
